Tasked with creating bespoke furniture and joinery for the project, Tim Webber’s contribution is at the heart of the room’s aesthetic and functional appeal. Among the standout features is a 2.2-meter diameter marble dining table — a statement piece that anchors the room with its striking presence. The table’s sculptural form is defined by four precision-cut marble slabs, seamlessly supported by a tubular steel leg base. Engineered for both stability and refinement, the structure ensures a weightless visual balance while accommodating the logistical challenge of installation on the second floor with restricted access. A surrounding solid oak timber frame enhances the tactile contrast of natural materials, lending warmth to the cool elegance of the marble.
Complementing this centrepiece is the custom inbuilt dry bar joinery and shelving, designed to blend seamlessly into the space while providing functional sophistication. The fluted leather banquette seating further reinforces the sense of intimacy, inviting guests to relax in plush comfort while immersed in the understated luxury of the surroundings.
