Landmark occasions like birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and graduations all call for a certain calibre of restaurant. This year, it was Britomart’s Mr Morris that claimed the title of Best Celebration Restaurant, with other honourable mentions going to beloved Ponsonby stalwart Jervois Steak House and Park Hyatt’s Onemata. Commercial Bay’s Ahi also proved popular for its elevated atmosphere and sweeping views, as did Parnell’s Cibo – a time-honoured place for celebration.
